It’s finally spring! Woohoo! I absolutely love spring. All the flowers, colors, and the weather is just beginning to warm up, it all makes me so happy. With Easter just around the corner, I decided to round up a few Easter/Spring dresses that are all under $30. Perfect for that last minute shopping before Easter Sunday. Let’s get started!
I hope you all had a great week! Over here in the McColgan home, we are patiently awaiting the arrival of our second baby! Woohoo! Definitely having lots of emotions. I’m so excited and at the same time a little intimidated! But I’m pretty sure those are normal feelings when you’re about to give birth and bring home a new baby! So I thought it would be fitting to share with you guys what’s in my hospital bag…the second time around. I‘ll try to link all the items for you guys and I’ve also attached a printable “Hospital Bag Checklist” that you can use as well!
Nursing Bra | Striped Pajama Shorts | Black Pajama Shorts with Tassel | Lanolin | Soothing Gel Pads | Gingham Bag | Toiletries Bag | Nursing Pads

Happy Aloha Friday everyone! I don’t know about you but I am so excited for spring. It’s my second favorite season after summer of course. I just love all the soft pastel colors and florals for spring. It’s just so fun and makes me happy!
Today on the blog I’ll be sharing my favorite spring finds from TJMaxx that are all under $50. I thought this would be the perfect blog post for this weekend because weekends make for perfect shopping days. Also if you head over to my Instagram a couple of my blogger friends and I are hosting a TJMaxx gift card giveaway ($50 value!). So check it out for a chance to win!
I’ve rounded up some of my favorite Dresses/Jumpsuits, Swimsuits, Shoes and Bags/Purses that are perfect for spring. Enjoy!
(I actually have this swimsuit in blue & white stripes and I love it!)

Happy bump day 🐪😆 I don’t normally post my OOTD on the blog, but since Instagram is down (and who knows when it’ll be back up), I thought to myself, this is a good reminder to continuously post on the blog and not rely on a platform that I don’t own. So instead of ranting that Instagram is down and how I can’t access it right now, I’ll take advantage of having my own website and utilize it the best I can!
So this was actually Monday’s OOTD (because we can’t be glamorous everyday 😆)
I am loving the simplicity yet put together look of this outfit 💗 It’s quick, easy and cute! What more could you ask for? Oh wait, comfortable too! There we go! 😉 This outfit is also super versatile. Swap in some sneakers and a baseball cap, tie the jacket around your waist (or wear it) and you’ve got a whole ‘nother outfit! Let me know in the comments how you would mix it up!
Hat and Jacket: Forever 21
Shoes: Blush Lane
Happy Friday ladies! I’ve been on a shoe kick lately, so I thought I’d share a few styles that are not only perfect for spring, but they’re perfect for that budget life! You can find all these shoes online at norstromrack.com or just head to one near you and find some great deals that aren’t found online!
Let me start off by letting you know that this is not a sponsored post, nor was I compensated in anyway for writing this. As much as I’d love to be sponsored (especially by Nordstrom Rack) I just love a good deal and sharing it with others! So here are 10 shoes perfect for spring all under $25. Can I get a “woot woot!”

Happy Friday mamas! Today on the blog I’m rounding up some of my favorite maternity items and I’ll also be sharing some that I don’t think are that necessary. For the record, so far I’ve had relatively “easy pregnancies” so maybe think of this as a “maternity starter pack.”

Parenting is such a rewarding experience, but at the same time (and most of the time) it can be very testing and full of emotions. Raising littles is no easy feat and I only have one! But the memories made along the way and the lessons learned are unforgettable! I love this new role as a mom. When most people think of having kids, or at least what I mainly thought about was starting my own family, how wonderful it would be to raise the next generation, teaching them life values, and teaching them about the Lord. I knew there would be the little battles, but you don’t really know what it’ll be like until you’re in the “battlefield.” What I’ve come to learn is that as I’m raising my child, I am also learning things about myself and how I as a person can and need to grow as well.
