I LOVE summer. It has always been my favorite season, aside from the sometimes blistering hot weather…ok, fine, the continuously hot weather. I love all things summer, the long days, the sunshine, going to the beach or the pool. It just feels so much more relaxing. No wonder I ended up moving to Hawaii. But hey, we do get a little teeny tiny winter over here too, so I wouldn’t exactly say it’s an “Endless Summer.” 😆
Since summer if in full swing, I thought it would be the perfect time to share some super cute swimsuits that are all under $30. Woohoo!
Aloha, mamas…or dads! Today I’m sharing some of my favorite baby products that I’ve been using and have loved for baby’s first two months. I like to stick to the basics, nothing too fancy. I really want to share the things that I think are worth spending your money on and a couple that you don’t necessarily need, but are awesome. So let’s get to it!
Sharing my everyday 10 minute make-up routine today! My favorite part is there’s no foundation 🙌🏼 It’s perfect for this hot and humid summer heat ☀️🥵 I’ll start this off by saying I’m no make-up guru. BUT, that is exactly why I want to share this. I’m just a normal girl who sometimes doesn’t know what some products are for 😆 and I don’t usually like to drop all my moolah on expensive products 🤷🏽♀️ And I’m pretty sure there are plenty of other girls out there in the same boat with me 🙋🏽♀️ So I hope you enjoy and find some products you’ll love! I’ll be linking all the products below and on the @liketoknow.it app.
Tips: When applying the concealer it may look too light at first, but just make sure to really blend it out when applying the loose powder.
Concealer– I usually use LIGHT but this time I’m using IVORY.
Birth Stories. I love hearing about people’s birth stories, there’s so much emotion and excitement and memories that will never leave you. Today, I’m sharing my birth story. It’s not my first and I hope it’s not my last. There’s nothing really crazy or super unique about it, but it’s mine and I will always cherish it. My due date was April 20, and from how my first pregnancy went, I was pretty sure I’d go past my due date. And I did. Overall I had a really easy pregnancy and I’m so grateful for that. But there’s nothing like those last two weeks. Time seems eternal and your energy levels are pretty low, especially with a two year old running you all over the place.
Just to warn you, I might get a little detailed here and there, not too much, just a little. But hey, it’s a birth story, what do you expect?
Mothers deserve the best! And I’m not saying that just because I am one. Okay, maybe a little. But seriously, becoming a mother, even a parent, makes you realize how much hard work your own parents have put in. And I don’t think you fully understand until you’re up at 2am with a crying baby. So let’s celebrate our mothers/mother figures this Mother’s Day and show them how much we appreciate them.
It’s finally spring! Woohoo! I absolutely love spring. All the flowers, colors, and the weather is just beginning to warm up, it all makes me so happy. With Easter just around the corner, I decided to round up a few Easter/Spring dresses that are all under $30. Perfect for that last minute shopping before Easter Sunday. Let’s get started!
I hope you all had a great week! Over here in the McColgan home, we are patiently awaiting the arrival of our second baby! Woohoo! Definitely having lots of emotions. I’m so excited and at the same time a little intimidated! But I’m pretty sure those are normal feelings when you’re about to give birth and bring home a new baby! So I thought it would be fitting to share with you guys what’s in my hospital bag…the second time around. I‘ll try to link all the items for you guys and I’ve also attached a printable “Hospital Bag Checklist” that you can use as well!
